Travelocity does NOT offer car liability coverage. Customers can check their insurance policies to find out if they cover the rental vehicle. Many policies also cover rental vehicles. If you're unsure if your car insurance policy covers your rental, contact your insurance agent.
Insufficient insurance
It is mandatory to have travel insurance when renting a car. However, it doesn’t cover all. Some rental companies may require you to pay an extra fee for supplemental coverage or CDW (collision damages waiver). You can also decline coverage to avoid this fee. However, if you're going to rent a car without a credit card, it's probably not a good idea. If you are involved in an accident or get drunk, this coverage will not cover your expenses.
